Family Night

Filed under: Daily Reflections,NaBloPoMo — by sunflowersreflections @ 10:15 pm

I just returned home from what has endearingly come to be known as “Family Night.”  Generally, every Thursday night a group of people some how associated with the people that Hubby went to pharmacy school with (significant others, friends, sisters, etc.) get together at Chef Paul’s Bavarian Lodge.  We have some great German style food and lots of awesome beer*.  Speaking of beer, I am a little tipsy right now and I think I have caught most of my typos, but it took me about 5 minutes to correctly login.   ANY WAY, Family Night tends to be one of the highlights of the week.  Good times, great people and often, we are the loudest group in the place**.  Tonight was an extra special and rather sad night.  It was one couples last Family Night, as tomorrow they are moving to Michigan.  This was the third, and final, going away party for them.  They shall be missed.  Good news is they are going to be really close to where my family lives, so we will definitely be visiting.

To our dear friends:  You shall be missed, good luck in your new jobs!

*If you like GOOD beer, this is the place to go, they have a huge selection and several on tap.  The beer menu is constantly changing, so check out their website.

**During Oktoberfest, we had people join our table because they were told we where the loudest/rowdiest group and they just wanted to be a part of that.
