Masters…DONE

Filed under: Daily Reflections — by sunflowersreflections @ 9:48 am

Most of this summer I had been pre-occupied with completing my masters.   I had my defense on June 29, that was the worst three hours of my life.  After that, I had a few revisions to make and the paper was more or less done.  Then I fought with my advisor.  What is with professors, they are clueless.  Any way – everything is completed and as of August 6, 2007, I officially have my masters of science degree.  Of course the dilopma will not be mailed out until October.

As part graduation present, part “I put my husband through pharmacy school*” present.  I got this:

I love it.  The most fun I have ever had driving.  We got the Mini Cooper S, so it has a turbo.  We also added several awesome features and there were many items that we did not even know existed.  For instance, there are LEDs through out the car – the color of the LEDs can be changed to eight different colors.

Since it arrived from England, I have been very busy tooling around in it, finding new features, and trying to put enough miles on it to get past the “break-in” period.  Hoping to put enough miles on it to be able to drive it up to Holland, Michigan at the beginning of September.

In other news, we are going to Disney World for nine days in September.  We leave the day after Hubby’s graduation.  That is right folks, pharamacy school is almost done, in fact, as of today, there are only THREE days remaining.

*We all know we both worked hard to finish this education endeavor.  All those working on weekends.  I am proud of Hubby, he has worked really hard to get to where he is.
