Changes

Filed under: Daily Reflections — by sunflowersreflections @ 9:15 am

There are a changes in the wind.  Unfortunately, I have to be patient for them to occur – something I am not very good at doing.

We have started looking into where we would like to live next.  I am really ready to no longer live in the FAR southwest suburbs.  I am ready for a commute that takes less than an hour each way.  Right now, I am averaging one hour and forty-five minutes.  That is over three and a half hours a day just gone, wasted.  I am over the whole having to drive twenty, thirty, or forty minutes to ANY place we want to go.  This would include the grocery store, since we would prefer to shop at either Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s.  I am basically just fed up and do not want to put up with it any more.  Of course, we will not actually be able to do anything for a minimum of ten months.

On top of that, we are both trying to figure out where our lives are going to go in terms of careers.  Without getting into any of the specifics, let’s just say that sampling 55-gallon drum of an unknown hazardous material is not something I want to do for the rest of my life…Additionally, Hubby is eight months away from being done with pharmacy school, so we are trying to determine where that will lead.

So, in the meantime, I just have to be patient and wait.  But it is fun to think about all that the future holds.
